'Right hand' in the Bible

They said to him, "Permit one of us to sit at your right hand and the other at your left in your glory."

David himself, by the Holy Spirit, said, 'The Lord said to my lord, "Sit at my right hand, until I put your enemies under your feet."'

"I am," said Jesus, "and you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of the Power and coming with the clouds of heaven."

After the Lord Jesus had spoken to them, he was taken up into heaven and sat down at the right hand of God.
